不锈钢密封圈具有弹性密封和金属硬密封的双重优点，多层软叠式密封圈固定在阀板上，与传统的不锈钢蝶阀具有耐高温、操作轻便、启闭无磨擦，不但搞高蝶阀的密封性能还能延长使用寿命。使用的工况不论是在低温或高温的情况下，都具有优良的密封性能和耐腐蚀的作用。
Stainless steel butterfly valves are widely recognized for their sealing performance. They are used for flow control and shutoff in piping systems across chemical processing, petroleum, metallurgy and hydropower applications.
Different sealing constructions use materials including stainless steel, rubber and PTFE. Rubber and PTFE sealing rings have limitations in demanding high-temperature, high-pressure, corrosive or abrasive service.
Stainless steel sealing rings combine characteristics of resilient and metal seals. A multilayer laminated sealing ring fixed to the disc offers high-temperature resistance, easy operation and friction-free opening and closing. Compared with conventional construction, this can improve sealing performance and extend service life, while providing effective sealing and corrosion resistance at both low and high temperatures.
